My DS Phat took a hard plunge off the counter at work, and part of the hinge broke. It still works fine, surprisingly, but it hangs off slightly, which is mildly annoying. I can probably glue it back together, but I can't figure out which glue to use.

Which glue would be best at bonding whatever kind of plastic the DS Phat is made out of?

I've had a DS since the first launch 2 years ago. but I got my DS Lite as a gift recently. It was one from the initial batch in early June. I'm running into a problem with the touch screen not responding properly, but I think it has to do with the fact that it got a lot of use before it made it to me, since it was a display unit (hence the ( Read more... )

Cracked left DS Lite hinge

That's exactly where mine is cracked, and I never dropped it. It started out as a little black line and now its become two. Soon they will merge to become one big ugly crack :(

I have a Best Buy warranty but it doesn't cover user damage.
